This insect is very small. It measures about 1/4" long without the hairs on the tail. I first saw two feeding on a manga that was on the ground. I saw a third in the afternoon hiding under a platano leaf. The flash and sunlight really brought out the irridescense in the "hairs". I hope you enjoy seeing this amazing creature.
