Description:

The little Chipping Sparrow was once a bird of open pine woods and edges but has adapted well to altered landscapes. It now nests in gardens and parks in many areas. Its tame behavior makes it well-known and popular. The Chipping Sparrow has a white stripe over its eye with a dark stripe below it, a gray cheek, and a lighter throat patch.

It was 69 degrees here in Silver Springs, Fla, yesterday. Don't know why this little chipping sparrow was all fluffed up like that. Thanks Desmond E S O.
