A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Aquila Chrysaetos
Was walking back into our village after an uneventful over our little mountain when I saw what appeared to be a pair of Buzzards flying low over the village. When they were almost level with me they suddenly turned away and I thought they had seen me, but no, they continued to circle right in front of me as I snapped away. They were much bigger than Buzzards and there was some difference between the two birds. In the first picture the higher on is an adult Golden Eagle while the other one is a 2-year old immature. Look closely and they appear to be holding a conversation!
