Here's the pronotum of a spotless Nine-spotted lady beetle, notice that it has no separate dots:

This isn't a 9-spotted lady beetle - notice the white dot with a curved white marking around it on the black part near the head, that means it is the Spotless Lady Beetle, Cycloneda sanguinea.
