The starling is shown on my shirt, as that is where it landed after hopping and flitting about. I remained still long enough for my sister to take a picture. It is common for starlings to frequent my garden and it seems they have grown accustomed to our company as well.
Why is the bird shown on a cloth instead of hopping around in the yard?
Its scientific names is Sturnus vulgaris
