Larinioides sclopetarius
About 9-10 mm in body length, colored as shown.
Very common species along both banks of the Willamette River in downtown Portland. It often spins webs on buildings, in the corners of recessed window frames, for example.
These images could also represent Larinioides patagiatus. The two species are virtually indistinguishable in the field, though the habitat and size fit with L. sclopetarius.
