Description:

Quite tall and clean looking mushrooms. Dark grey-green-brown on top. Very white stipe and gills. No frills visible. 250mm tall, pileus 90mm wide.

Habitat:

Open grassy playing field.

Notes:

These ones were not at all shiny or slimy looking. ?? Gets its name from the tendency of the stipe to continue into the soil. Also known as common rooting shank
