I came across a small metallic green fly and was able to snap a macro photo with my iPhone olloclip.

This was the stuff of nightmares for me before I discovered Project Noah but now I can really appreciate the beauty of these guys!
This is a species of Blow Fly. Most likely a Common Green Bottle Fly, but several of these flies look very similar. Check here:http://bugguide.net/node/view/53775
