Sac Spider

Trachelas sp.

Description:

This is a species of sac spider, genus Trachelas, photographed around 11:20 pm on 27 May 2012 in Mt. Dora, Florida. The spider was lurking about my parents' backyard fence. The spider diversity in this yard is staggering! But, I suppose it is pretty much anywhere in central Florida... heh. Anyhow, this is a very small, diminutive spider. A bit edgy and seemingly-nervous. [jansonjones http://dusttracks.com]
