Strepera fuliginosa
Endemic to Tas, Black Currawong lack the white under tail colouring of the Pied Currawong
I came for a week visit 12 years ago ..now been living here for 10 :) it is a beautiful place to live, and your right so much wildlife.
Cheers James, there were several very cunning birds hanging around the Lake Pedder campsite. They weren't camera shy at all.
Thanks Charlie, not long back. Tassie is such a beautiful place, still so much wildlife, I would very much like to move there one day!
Hope your enjoying Tas...you will be seeing quite a LOT of these whilst your here :) Look forward to all your spottings. :)
Impressive bird, nice images
