Description:

Small insect with wings that are clear with black lines, a body that is black and yellow-striped like a bee, with red legs and and a black head and black antennae.

Habitat:

Found floating in the clear waters of Laguna Chicabal - very old, water-filled crater at the top of a volcano.

If you happen to want to visit Laguna Chicabal - don't be fooled by the travel agency ads that talk about all the "Mayan altars" you can see. All you see are signs that basically say "this is where a Mayan altar was."
