Hosta, Flagrant Plantain or Plantain Lily

Description:

Fine foliaged perennials Leaves large radical ovatecordate, yellow-green with longitudinal veins Flowers somewhat fragrant, individually tubular w/6 spreading lobes. Flowers summer-early autumn.

Habitat:

Light to full shade, bright sun may burn leaves in some locations... Water to keep damp but Not sodden.

Notes:

Propagate by division in spring, but clumps improve with age don't disturb more than necessary. Sometimes called Funkia also. (Shiny spots on leaves on 3 pics are raindrops) Note pic 4 some leaves may be variegated.
