Project Noah Nature School
family Tachyglossidae
Dry Eucalypt forest
This Echidna was spotted near the footpath in Toohey Forest, Brisbane. It was feeding on ants on the forest floor.
Wow. I was under the impression that there wasn't any on this area due to high traffic volume so that is really cool to know. :)
Welcome to Project Noah! Great spot. Apparently it's coming into their breeding season... you might be lucky enough to see an 'echidna train'! (I'd LOVE to see one!!)
