Masses of fungi? or roots? growing on surface of rotting log. If they were roots, I couldn't tell where they were eminating from.

Habitat:

Growing on rotting log, damp conditions. Semi-rural property, Clifton Beach QLD

Air mycelium likely from a Coprinoid species. Common names include ozonium and 'fire-rug'
