Description:

1 1/8-1 1/4" (28-32 mm) Cool gray-brown with orange spots on HW near tail above. Pale silver-gray below with coal-black bands on FW and HW, consisting of small, widely separated round dots; blue spots and orange patch or zig zag border on HW near tail.

Habitat:

Damp fields, meadows, streamsides; in canyon bottoms and seeps westward.
