Grasshopper

Caelifera

Description:

They like to eat grass, leaves, and cereal crops. Many grasshoppers are omnivorous. They make noises by rubbing their legs together. They range in size of about 5mm to 11cm. Many of them are green or straw-colored to blend in with their surroundings. Their hind legs are adapted to jump.

Habitat:

Grasshoppers prefer dry open habitats with lots of grass and other low plants. I found this grasshopper by A building on top of a pillar.

Notes:

Dray Awaya P.7
