Description:

Thought to have gone from Africa to the Canary Islands with the first settlers there and used as hunting dogs to catch rabbits which have overrun the islands. Some have since been moved to Spain for hunting and this one has been either released into the wild or escaped.

Habitat:

Limestone outcrop in foothills of los Serranos mountains.
