Zebra Jumper

Salticus scenicus

Description:

Two different individuals from the same location. I thought they were the same spider until I compared the photos. Fairly common Jumper, small, found in Europe as well as the USA!

Habitat:

Suburban backyard (with gardens).

Notes:

We have a lot of these lively little spiders. They are very suspicious of my camera and tend to try to escape or jump on the camera when I am taking photos. Silly things.
