American Redstart

Setophaga ruticilla

Description:

small sparrow sized warbler. Black head, chest, wings, and back. Orange bars on wings, tail, and chest.

Habitat:

Wooded areas.

Notes:

Took 2 days to get a good photo because they tend to stay hidden in the wooded areas and do not stay still very long. I was very lucky to get one good photo and a few seconds of video to capture the singing :) The video is shaky because it was a hand-held camera at full zoom, sorry.
