Delphacid Planthopper

Description:

A weird little planthopper of the Family Delphacidae. About 3 mm long. The antennae are long and extravagant. Notice the large tibial spur on the hind leg which is characteristic of the Delphacidae.

Habitat:

Semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
