A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
As per the data i could gather, The black squirrel occurs as a "melanistic" subgroup of both the eastern gray squirrel and the fox squirrel. Melanism is a development of the dark-colored pigment melanin in the skin or its appendages and is the opposite of albinism. But Could not get the ID for the same. Can anyone please help to ID the same ?
