Description:

Cycloneda munda is a native species to Eastern North America. They feed on aphids, scale insects and other soft bodied insects. A single lady beetle can consume vast quantities of aphids in its lifetime, as many as 5,000 or more.

Habitat:

Eastern North America. Low vegetation in gardens, meadows, prairies.
