Description:

Rattle Snake. If it didn't rattle we would have stepped on it, even when we heard the rattle it took sometime to find its exact position, it was really well camouflaged. about 60 cm long.

Habitat:

Oak forest in a canyon next to Santa Catarina River in the Sierra Madre.

Not sure which subspecies this is, they are highly variable. Awesome find though!
