Mt Morgan wattle

Acacia podalyriifolia

Description:

A small to medium acacia with narrow, dark coloured trunk and branches, smoky pale green leaves, beautiful clusters of tiny fluffy ball golden flowers. Flowers appear at the start of winter and last for many months.

Habitat:

Native of central Queensland but now common in garden settings.

Notes:

Regarded as a potential weed outside its natural range. One of our winter flowering plants.
