Description:

Mangor acalypha is a medium sized spider, with a two-body, the abdomen (abdominal) and thorax (prosoma or cephalothorax). Thorax is broad, with some fine and hair, the color is generally light with a darker longitudinal center line. Abdomen of the female is large and spherical, with a fairly characteristic pattern of mottled light and dark spots in the yellow-brown, white and black. It has eight eyes, four relatively large eyes in the middle, more or less form a square, and a couple of very small eyes that sit close together on each side. Chelicerene are short, powerful, with teeth on the inside. The legs are moderately long and quite powerful.

Habitat:

This spider is in the Red List database. The database is based on the national Red List of threatened and attention demanding species in Norway. These species are in danger of dying out.
