Description:

Stenurella melanura is a beetle species of flower longhorns belonging to the family Cerambycidae, subfamily Lepturinae. Larvae develop in rotten wood of deciduous and coniferous trees, especially Castanea sativa.

Habitat:

Deciduous woodland (Castanea sativa) margin.
