Brazilian Giant Snail

Megalobulimus oblongus/Strophocheilus oblongus

Description:

This specimen was feeding of some debris of fruits and flowes of the litter in the ground.

Habitat:

I found this specimen in an an environmental reserve of the Atlantic Florest, in a mountainous region.

Notes:

I don't remember the exactly specie now, but, it's a fact that this Snail will be extinct in ten years, by the degradation of your habitat and, the competition with exotic species.
