Douglas Squirrel

Tamiasciurus douglasii

Description:

It is reddish-brown on top and white or orangish-white on its undersides. In the winter its fur may be a little grayer. It has small ear tufts in the winter. Douglas squirrels are very territorial and very vocal.

Habitat:

Sequoia National Forest, CA.

Thanks Joshua! Yes, they are really nice to see and is cute how they stretch their body all along of the tree :-)
BTW, am I right with chipmunk ID that I posted today? Would it also be a lodgepole? I am so lost with the chipmunk species! Thanks for checking ;-)
