Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle

Harmonia axyridis

Description:

Ladybird beetle larva, covered in dew. It was gray/black with rows of orange markings and double-branched spines. The size of the larva is actually larger than the size it will be as an adult.

Habitat:

On a milkweed plant that was covered in oleander aphids (Aphis nerii). It was the perfect location for this larva to have a serious feast.
