Lantern Bug - Pyrops polillensis, its has wings that is covered in whitish powder and bluish tone. The snout, which is its extended mouth-part is blueish in colour on the top with tiny white spots and the tip is whitish colour. It opens its wings in defensive posture when touched, showing blue and black coloured underwings.

Notes:

It was quite a treat to find this especially since I seldom come across them in Philippines, but on this particular trip, saw quite a lot of them, thus I was able to try my luck to 'touch' them to have a look at its wings.
