This is very cool. I think Geoffrey is right. This is a pine marten. Short legs, rounded ears, the slender body of a weasel. The second photo is almost certainly a pine marten.

Cool photos! This looks like marten or possibly a fisher? I'm leaning towards American marten (Martes americana).
