Description:

A medium sized, drab colored butterfly with two eye spots on the back ridge of the lower wings and two bold jagged stripes crossing vertically through both wings. They perfectly blend into the leaf litter that they frequently rest upon. These butterflies are rarely caught sunning themselves with their wings open as this one was.

Habitat:

Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland, FL.
