A coppery brown moth with a metallic sheen and orange bands on the upper wings. It is similar to another spotting from a higher elevation (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/273...) and is probably the same species.
Came to an ultraviolet light set up along the highway on a cliff between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 18.5, 1164 meters elevation.
