Blue-spotted cornetfish

Description:

•They eat small fishes and invertebrates. •They live solitary. •They are easily mistaken for the needlefish. The cornetfish has smaller mouth and jaws and a more elongated face in comparison to the needlefish's elongated jaw and mouth.

Habitat:

Coral reefs, seagrass beds, hard and rocky bottoms -I saw this cornetfish in Ilha Grande (RJ, Brazil)
