Description:

Widely distributed shorebird that is often observed far from water. This bird's body is Robin sized with shorebird legs. Coloration of the upper body is mottled brown. The head is brown with a white face, chin and neck, thin black line through the eye region and black neck ring. Lower is white with black bib.

Habitat:

Found in habitats from shoreline to fields and parks.
