Mystery Mushroom #2 (2 of 2)

Description:

Also good-sized mushroom. Though cap is pale grey-brown (see pic #1 of 2), underside and stem are white, white spores. This pic is the underside of the previous photo. This stem is also stringy and fibrous, tough.

Habitat:

Doesn't show it too clearly but it's coming from the dirt beneath this log.

Notes:

What is it?? Is this the same as Mystery Mushroom #1, previous mushroom.

this is the "Platterful Collybia" - Tricholomopsis platyphylla - now also called Megacollybia platyphylla.
