Description:

House Gecko contemplates Erebus Moth for dinner; wingspan 8 cm (3.1 inches). Seconds after our photo session the gecko decided to jump at the moth, but he wasn't fast enough and dinner got away.

Quite the opposite in my area.
Every time it rains here, we have less interesting "visitors".
But a clear night will bring in a variety of nocturnal "friends".

Yeahh!! :-) Yes, we're having lots of 'visitors' sheltering from the rain... Rainy season could last another month or so. Then typhoon season - when some of the bigger, more unusual moths seem to be blown our way.
