"Rounded Global Status Rank: G2 - Imperiled Reasons: A southern Florida endemic, this species' pineland habitat is rare and endangered due to commercial development and agriculture. Approximately 49 occurrences are known, mostly from Miami-Dade County. Several sites are located in protected areas, but proper management is needed to ensure persistence." -EOL This plant is also known as Pinelands Morning Glory.
