Description:

The Sleepy Orange is a bright orange butterfly with the upper side of the wings having wide black borders. The forewing coastal margin has a small, narrow black spot.

Habitat:

These butterflies are using a small Senna tree as a host plant. They are one of several species of Pieridae that use this plant as a host.

Senna is in the Fabaceae (legume or pea) family.
