Description:

Both adults have greenish thoraxes with black striping. Faces are white and there are light amber patches on the wing. Body and wingspan length varies from 2.5-5 cm (1-2 in).

Habitat:

Wetlands. Males often patrol wetland edges and perch on vegetation overhanging the water.
