Agria fumipennis violacea

Description:

Small blueish gray damselfly. Dancers hold their wings above parallel to their body and male Violet Dancers have distinct violet terminal segments at the end of the abdomen.

Habitat:

Wide ranging habitat and very common in NE OH - easily seen along vegetated pond margins with places to perch

Seen along Foster Pond dam (N end), The Holden Arboretum, Lake County, Kirtland Twp., Kirtland, OH
