Description:

Adult: forewing rose pink, crossed by sharp, narrow, toothed pale yellow AM and PM lines (sometimes incomplete); hindwing yellowish, shaded with brown.

Habitat:

Fields, meadows, wood edges where food plants grow; adults are nocturnal and attracted to light.
