Northern Pied Babbler

Turdoides hypoleucus

Description:

Found in groups of about 10-12 birds near thick cover, IT is a ground forager which always stays close to cover . It forages from dawn until around midday and then again just before dusk.

Habitat:

Seen in farmlands, gardens, forest edges and thickets. Seen in grassy plains of Nairobi National Park.

Thank you, Santiago! I was using a Canon T2i, which unfortunately was malfunctioning (I just took it in for a second repair within 2 weeks). Others of my spottings are with a Canon EOS Rebel.

I love your spots, and this bird is beautiful. I was wondering the camera you use?
