This leaf beetle is very variable and occurs in a totally light form without any stripes and may even have three transverse dots along the pronotum. This is the darkest form I have seen


On eucalyptus.


This species is alpine and was found at noojee, licola and aberfeldy. Here is a lighter one The image below is even darker.
