Army Ant

Description:

Bivouac of Army Ants. Found on a night hike behind Explorama Lodge with students from Reading Memorial High School. The ant trail extend far back into the forest. As we watched we saw ants carrying ant larva in their mouths. Not sure if was larva from the army ant colony or from a raid on another species!
