Thanks Alex, I think you are spot on with your ID after looking at some local pictures of hirsutum.
some fungi of the fam: "stereum", species: "which is common around you" {enter at google: "stereum" and "find-location". there should come out some possible species. pay attention for the color, and surface, not so much the shape.} {maybe: stereum hirsutum}!!! good luck
