You're completely right, Ann! Sometimes even one dot could make the difference between two species!

Thanks! Both almost look exactly alike. The main difference I could see was the line across the wings. But I guess with moths the small details are what counts!

Ann, I have been thinking about this one. Although it looks like Zanclognatha cruralis at first, further research brings me to conclude this is in the genus Chytolita, specifically Chytolita morbidalis.

The only thing which deters me from suggesting this is the spots just below the middle of the forewing.

I have seen this before...I haven't uploaded to PN yet...appears to be a type of Zanclognatha moth, perhaps Z. pedipilalis:
