Mountain Bluebird

Sialia currucoides

Description:

This was one of the nest boxes I monitor every week. I assume this hatchling was a day or less old since the other eggs still had not hatched. They had little cracks and punctures though so they were probably hatching shortly after I left. I didn't wanna bother the parents too bad so I quickly took the photo and left.

Habitat:

Meyer Ranch Open Space Park, Jefferson County, Colorado
