Description:

Large colorful Hummingbird. Males have purple crowns, green black back and front. Throat color is turquoise in the right light. Bill is dark and slightly curved.

Habitat:

Found in Pine/Oak woodlands in higher elevations of southern Arizona and Mexico.

Notes:

Formally called Magnificent Hummingbird.
