Description:

This is the Nest of the Monk Parrot it is a large bunch of braches, twigs, and other plant debris all tangled up and weaved into this colony housing. it is mainly seen in Everman's Downtown area along the electrical boxes as you see here.

Yes it is they are classified as problematic for the locals in Everman. They have a few pages on these birds on the city websites. It is pretty good I got the pictures of the nest and the birds themselves. normally I don't get things like these. I normally get Gulls, Grackles, and other things in my neighbor hood. So its exciting to see new things. Just got to keep adventuring and exploring new territory. :)

Must be difficult for the electricity people to work around these mounds . Interesting spotting !
